Job summary

Carter Lumber is looking for Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists to transport materials to various locations with a focus on safety and customer service. This full-time role offers a salary-based pay with potential bonuses and opportunities for career growth.

You will operate primarily with flatbed loads, ensure loads are secured, and may use a forklift for loading/unloading. A strong work ethic and adherence to DOT regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarps when required.
• No touch freight; materials loaded/unloaded with a forklift.
