Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a truck driver to deliver materials to customers in the Indianapolis area. The role requires a valid CDL A or B, Hazmat endorsement preferred, and strict adherence to DOT standards. You will load/unload, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.

Prospective team members should be reliable, with strong communication and a customer-focused approach. The job includes a daytime schedule, potential overtime, and benefits support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A or B.
• HazMat endorsement preferred.
• Must meet DOT standards and regulations.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with basic technology including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery ticket is present.
• Pickup customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the truck as needed.
• Report any problems or issues to supervisor; follow all safety policies.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment; assist with receiving and stocking.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage; comply with company DOT requirements.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
