Monadnock Developmental Services, Inc. is hiring a Home & Community Direct Support Professional in Keene, NH. This full-time DSP role focuses on empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to live independently in their homes and communities.

The position offers a $750 sign-on bonus, pay of $16.50 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, plus 11 holidays, 15 vacation days and 12 sick days. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach individuals in life skills such as cooking, nutrition, money management, communication, chores, and personal hygiene.
• Provide transportation and support for social outings, appointments, and activities.
• Help individuals achieve personal milestones per service plans and behavior plans.
• Administer medications after certification and follow safety protocols.
• Maintain daily notes, medication logs, and incident reports; keep Program Manager updated on health changes.
