Role Overview

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Report observations of clients' conditions and notify supervisors of incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, adhere to traffic laws, and wear seat belts during travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Help with household tasks essential to clients' personal care.

Qualifications

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to various home situations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission and values.

State-Specific Requirements

• Must be listed on the Home Health Aide registry in WI or have 40 hours of training or six months of experience.
