Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting assistance
• Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt during business travel
• Assist with household tasks essential to clients' personal care

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Current CPR certification

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
