Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager; notifies immediately of incidents or accidents.
• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when traveling for work.
• May assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, dental care, nail care, skin care, and transferring patients.
• Assists with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work in any home situation regardless of patient demographics.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
