Amada Senior Care Greensboro is seeking an experienced caregiver to support a client at home in Walnut Cove, NC. The role specializes in stroke and brain injury care, requiring hands-on experience and compassionate, individualized attention.

You will assist with ADLs, follow the care plan, and ensure comfort, safety, and dignity. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule with weekend rotations and competitive pay of $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

Immediate Opening | Stroke & Brain Injury Care Experience Required

Amada Senior Care Greensboro is seeking an experienced, compassionate caregiver to assist a client in their home in Walnut Cove, North Carolina. This position is ideal for someone who lives in Walnut Cove or very close by and has hands-on experience caring for individuals recovering from a stroke or living with a brain injury.

Pay: $22 per hour

Schedule

• Tuesdays: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Fridays: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sundays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Weekend shifts rotate every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Provide compassionate, individualized care related to the client's stroke and brain injury needs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and repositioning.
• Support the client's comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience with stroke or brain injury care is required.
• Must live in or very close to Walnut Cove, NC.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Successful background check required.
• Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog.
• Must be comfortable working in a smoking household.
