Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver in Schaumburg, IL to support clients with daily living activities, personal care, and transportation. This full-time position offers both hourly and live-in options and requires a caring, patient approach with strong communication.

The caregiver will assist with bathing, meal prep, and medication reminders, while maintaining a safe home environment and reporting changes to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience caregiving with elderly clients preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship; support daily living activities incl. bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
• Gait belt or Hoyer Lift certified

Position Overview

We seek a dedicated Caregivers to provide attentive, in-home support to clients in DuPage County, IL. This role requires someone who is patient, caring, and able to assist with daily activities to enhance the client’s quality of life and independence.

Responsibilities
