Job summary

Safe Life Home Healthcare, a CHAP-certified company established in 2010, is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our mission-driven team in Schaumburg, IL. The In Home Caregiver role covers hourly and live-in positions, delivering in-home support to elder clients in DuPage County.

You will assist with personal care, housekeeping, and transportation, monitor client well-being, and report changes to the healthcare team. CNA certification is preferred, and high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in caregiving, especially with elderly clients, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship. Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment.
• Gait belt or Hoyer Lift certified.
