The position requires a Master’s in Speech Therapy, current state certification, and 3+ years’ experience in home health, acute care, or rehabilitation settings. Part-time and full-time options are available with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy is required.
• Current Speech Therapist Certification in the state of operation.
• 3+ years’ experience in Home Health, Acute Care setting or Rehabilitation Facility.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families in a friendly and welcoming manner, creating a positive first impression.
• Perform assessments and provide therapy for speech, voice, language communication, swallowing and related disorders.
• Maintain documentation of plan of care and patient records according to agency policy.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers regarding speech disorders.
• Deliver services supporting augmentative and alternative communication devices and communication prostheses.
