Job summary

Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Registered Nurse for Home Care. The RN will develop and supervise individualized service plans, observe residents, and coordinate with physicians and families. The role oversees LPNs, Aides, and Home Care workers to ensure high-quality care.

• Must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience as an RN.
• Experience in caring for seniors and/or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with residents, families, physicians to evaluate needs and develop a service plan.
• Communicate changes in the resident's condition.
• Ensure the resident's plan is followed by the Home Support team.
• Deliver nursing care per the plan of care and nursing standards.
• Participate in care conferences and resident meetings.
• Assist in orientation and training of other agency nurses and aides.

Location: Greenspring Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as Registered Nurses for Home Care. The RN in Home Care provides nursing care according to established policies and procedures for a home care agency. The RN develops and supervises the implementation of a resident's individualized service plan, observes the resident's condition, and communicates to the Physician and family/responsible party as needed. The RN oversees the resident's care delivered by the Home Support team of LPN's, Aides, and Home Care workers and companions.

• Compensation: $43 to $46 an hour based on experience

How you will make an impact

• Partnering and collaborating in the initial evaluation to assess the residents’ needs to develop and implement a service plan based on the evaluation and in conjunction with the resident, family, physician, and /or authorized practitioner
• Communicating any changes in the resident's condition
• Ensuring that the resident's individualized plan is implemented and followed by the Home Support agency team of providers
• Delivering nursing care as outlined in the plan of care and according to acceptable nursing standards
• Participating in care conferences and other resident-related meetings
• Participating in the orientation and training of other agency nurses as well as training any Aide staff development activities

What you will need
