Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to service clients with one-on-one home care in Duval County. You will perform ADL support under RN supervision, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for seniors in their homes.

Shifts are PRN and vary from 2 hours to 12 hours, with daytime, overnight, and weekend options. Florida CNA license, 1 year CNA experience, in-person CPR, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
• Active Florida CNA license.
• CPR certification (in person).
• Reliable and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
• Light housekeeping and laundry as needed; maintain safe home environment.
• Monitor client condition under RN supervision and remind about medications.
• Document tasks and report changes to supervisor; provide companionship.

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are currently searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant to service clients with one-on-one home care. In this role, the Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for completing the tasks requested by the client in accordance with home care guidelines, training and as directed by our RN Supervisor.

Schedule

PRN, varies by client, 2 hours to 12 hour shifts available, flexible schedule (daytime, overnights and weekends available).

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other client needs
• Light housekeeping removing any trash and washing dishes, etc.…
• Laundry as needed
• Ensure bathroom, kitchen and home is clean and safe
• Basic observation, medical monitoring and medication reminders under the RN Supervisor
• Document tasks completed and report any change in condition
• Companionship and social engagement

Qualifications

• 1 year Certified Nursing Assistant experience
• Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license
• CPR certification (in person, not online)
• Reliable and dependable transportation
