Visiting Angels of Kansas City is seeking In Home Patient Care Assistants (PCA) to support clients across the Kansas City Metro area, including Overland Park and nearby regions. The role emphasizes compassionate, personalized care and helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

Caregivers provide personal care, companionship, meal assistance, light housekeeping, and transportation support while adhering to individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to and from client homes is essential.
• Must be physically able to assist with tasks like light housekeeping and mobility support.
• First Aid and emergency response training is required (provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light meals and planning.
• Perform light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Report health changes or incidents to supervisors.
• Supervise and accompany clients during shopping trips.
• Support mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.
