Visiting Angels Topeka seeks a Patient Care Assistant - PCA to support clients in Topeka and nearby areas including Auburn and Pauline. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and monitor health needs with compassion and reliability.
We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible scheduling across days, nights, weekends and overnight shifts. Benefits include health, dental and vision coverage, weekly pay, direct deposit and a sign-on bonus.
Formación
- Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
- Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.
- Respectful and compassionate demeanor.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license and own car with current auto insurance.
- Willingness to transport clients in own vehicle.
Responsabilidades
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, meals).
- Assist with light housekeeping.
- Provide transportation for medical appointments and activities.
- Monitor client health status and report changes.
- Follow safety protocols during care.
- Communicate effectively with clients and families.
