Job summary

A New Hope Home Care is hiring RNs and LPNs for pediatric home care in Asheville and surrounding areas. Join a compassionate team delivering one-on-one skilled nursing in clients' homes, focusing on trach/vent management, medications, and family education.

We value flexible schedules, continual training, and strong clinical support. Trach/vent experience is preferred but we will train the right nurse. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification (provided if needed).
• Passion for pediatric/home care with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Reliable transportation to and from patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one care for pediatric clients with medical complexities (trach, vent, etc.).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform trach/vent care and management.
• Monitor and assess physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Educate and support families in care routines.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled one-on-one care for pediatric clients with medical complexities (trach, vent, tube feeding, seizures, infusions, etc.)
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform trach/vent care and management
• Monitor and assess physical, psychological, and social needs
• Document care accurately and timely
• Educate and support families
• Assist with ADLs as needed

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina
• Current CPR certification (we’ll provide if needed)

Trach & Vent experience is preferred, but we are willing to fully train dedicated nurses.
