Job summary

A New Hope Home Care is seeking compassionate pediatric home care nurses to provide specialized one-on-one care in clients' homes. You will manage trach/vent care, administer medications, monitor vitals, and support families to improve outcomes.

The role offers flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN options with ongoing training and access to a professional clinical team. CPR certification is provided if needed, and travel to patient homes is required.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina.
• Current CPR certification; required or provided if needed.
• Passion for pediatric home care with a caring, professional demeanor.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel-to-patient homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one pediatric home care (trach/vent, etc.).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform trach/vent care and monitor patient status.
• Assess physical, psychological and social needs of the child.
• Document care accurately and timely for families and teams.
• Educate and support families in daily care and safety.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled one-on-one care for pediatric clients with medical complexities (trach, vent, tube feeding, seizures, infusions, etc.)
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform trach/vent care and management
• Monitor and assess physical, psychological, and social needs
• Document care accurately and timely
• Educate and support families
• Assist with ADLs as needed

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in North Carolina
• Current CPR certification (we’ll provide if needed)
• Passion for pediatric/home care and a warm, professional demeanor
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Reliable transportation
