Addus HomeCare in Westerville, OH is hiring a Recruiter to coordinate staffing and recruitment across the organization. You will source, interview, and extend offers, using predefined data and systems to explain compensation and benefits.

The role requires attention to compliance, onboarding, and continuous process improvement. The recruiter will manage high-volume processes, partner with HR and agency leadership, and ensure timely onboarding while meeting federal and state requirements and

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience with high volume recruiting process required.
• At least 1 year of home care experience required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing requirements and provide recruitment support to the Agency Director, State Recruiter, and Human Resources.
• Coordinate and manage the field recruiting and hiring process, including sourcing, scheduling, interviewing, candidate selection, offer negotiation, and offer extension.
• Explain compensation and benefits using preselected data and systems.
• Initiate and coordinate pre-employment and offer presentation processes, including interviews and background checks.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and oversee reference checks, criminal background checks, assessment testing, orientation, and onboarding activities.
• Maintain active employee files and ensure ongoing compliance (EMR and paper charts).
• Identify recruiting trends and apply innovative techniques to stay competitive.
• Audit new hire packets for completeness and compliance.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding materials.

Position Summary: The Recruiter coordinates and utilizes the functional areas of recruitment, in conjunction with sales plan, to anticipate client requests for home care and staffing personnel. The recruiter will utilize experience and judgment to plan and continuously improve branch recruitment program and processes. This position is required to contribute to the established company revenue goals through the performance of the outlined duties and responsibilities.

Hours: Full Time: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. No On Call Requirement.
