Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Care Lead in the Pittsburgh area. You will be called to care when needed, supporting a full range of patient services to bring comfort and dignity to our clients.

We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and options for full-time, part-time, PRN, or weekends. Responsibilities include supervising visits, training field-based home care aides, assisting with case openings, and providing feedback to care professionals.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in caregiving or similar roles.
• CNA, STNA or HHA certificate preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Attention to detail and ability to document patient notes.

Responsibilities

• Assist, perform and train patients and families in activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting).
• Assist Supervisor by performing supervisory visits as designated.
• Assist with orientation and training of field-based home care aides.
• Assist with opening cases.
• Provide feedback to care professionals including evaluations.

As a Home Care Lead, you will be:

• Assists, performs and trains patient/client and family in activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, grooming, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting)

Requirements:

• Six (6) months of experience in a similar job classification (Caregiving or HHA experience)
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA or STNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate, preferred
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
