Caring Angels Home Care in Brooklyn seeks a full-time Spanish-speaking Intake Coordinator to join our intake team. The role focuses on evaluating referrals, verifying insurance, and educating patients about available home care services.

You will liaise with hospitals, nursing facilities, and physicians to determine insurance-approved services and coordinate care. The successful candidate will have familiarity with HHA Exchange and at least one year of intake experience.

Caring Angels Home Care is looking for a full-time Spanish speaking Intake Coordinator for our Brooklyn office. The Intake Coordinator plays an integral role in the Intake Department. Our agency has won numerous awards for employee satisfaction and excellence in patient care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Receive referrals from referral sources. Processing referrals received from marketing sources such as hospitals, nursing homes, and community physicians.

Verify patient’s insurance to determine eligibility

Educate patients on services we provide

Determine what services were approved by insurance

Contact patients to educate them on the services we can provide and assist them with their Home Care needs for skilled and non-skilled services.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have knowledge of HHA Exchange
• 1 year of Intake Experience (Preferred)
