Job summary

Patra Care is seeking a skilled Infusion Nurse to deliver IV therapies in patients' homes within the assigned region. You will monitor progress, educate patients and caregivers, and coordinate with physicians under physician-directed plans of care, collaborating with the broader clinical team to support outcomes.

Access to real-time mobile EMR, adherence to HIPAA, and participation in on-call rotations are part of this role, with flexible scheduling and 100% local travel.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1–3 years nursing experience (infusion preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic proficiency with mobile technology and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage nursing care plans per physician orders.
• Administer IV therapies, manage central lines, and perform related procedures.
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence with care and therapy.
• Document all services in real-time using mobile EMR tools.

About the Role

Required:

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 1+ year of home health or infusion experience

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 75 lbs)
• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, and maneuvering of medical equipment
• Use of PPE in home settings with variable environmental conditions
• Potential exposure to bodily fluids and household risks

Travel

• 100% local travel required within assigned region
