Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide compassionate, one-on-one support in home and community settings for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You will help clients reach their full potential through personal care, companionship, and daily activities.

This role offers flexible shifts and weekly pay, with training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (apprentice program available).
• High school diploma or GED required; education verification may occur.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming).
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
