Qualifications
- Experience supporting children and/or adults on the autism spectrum and with Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or other ID/DD.
- Strong understanding of person-centered care and behavioral support.
- Patience, reliability, and professionalism.
- Ability to follow care plans and agency policies.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background check and meet hiring requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support tailored to each client’s needs
- Assist with daily living activities and skill-building
- Support community integration and social development
- Implement individualized care and behavior support plans
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment
- Document services and report client progress
