Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a Home Care Leader to oversee performance planning, staffing, budgeting and compliance for home health services. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of patient care, education, and regulatory adherence while guiding a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a strong background in nursing or business/management with home health leadership experience and a Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Nursing or Business/Management with at least 5 years of home health leadership experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and relationship-building skills; ability to act in stressful situations and interpret financial data.

Responsibilities

• Manages departmental budget and staffing, including hiring of management positions.
• Ensures orientation, education and training for staff and contract personnel.
• Leads performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintains compliance with policies, regulations and safety standards.
• Ensures cost-effective care delivery without compromising quality or patient satisfaction.
