Job summary

Benchmark Therapy and Rehab in Ohio is seeking a full-time and consistent PRN COTA to join our practice, providing in-home occupational therapy services under the direct supervision of an OT and Therapy Coordinator.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, helping patients develop daily living skills, monitoring progress, collaborating with healthcare team, and educating patients and families on therapeutic techniques; Ohio license required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy.
• Experience in home care setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, caregivers, and healthcare team.
• Ability to adapt treatment plans based on home environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients in their home.
• Implement treatment plans and interventions under supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Help patients develop or regain daily living skills in their home setting.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
