Job summary

Fedelta Home Care is seeking a Home Care Coordinator (HCC) to drive caregiver recruitment, onboarding, compliance, staffing, and daily branch operations in the Seattle area. The role collaborates with Supervisors, HR, and operations to recruit, hire, prepare, schedule, and support caregivers while upholding quality care and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced home care setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Healthcare/home care experience preferred.
  • Equivalent education, training, or related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and coordinate the hiring of qualified caregivers and field employees.
  • Partner with Supervisors to understand staffing needs.
  • Represent the branch at job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and onboarding sessions.
  • Support employee offboarding and record maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with caregiver staffing, scheduling, and client matching.
  • Maintain information in WellSky and other systems.
  • Support benefits, payroll, and department communications.

Work Location: In-office Northgate Branch

Pay:$25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience

What You’ll DoRecruitment & Onboarding
  • Recruit, interview, and coordinate the hiring of qualified caregivers and field employees.
  • Partner with Home Care Supervisors to understand staffing needs.
  • Represent the branch at job fairs, hiring events, community events, and other recruitment activities.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, employment eligibility verification, and required screenings.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions and ensure new hires are prepared and compliant before beginning field assignments.
  • Support employee offboarding, including required documentation, system updates, access changes, and record maintenance.
Compliance & Employee Records
  • Maintain accurate employee information in Wellsky,ADP, SharePoint, and personnel files.
  • Maintain required personnel, medical, I-9, WOTC, training, licensing, and certification records.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure employee files are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Track required training, continuing education, licenses, certifications, and work assessments.
  • Coordinate renewals, screenings, and compliance requirements as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and client information and follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Support Home Care Supervisors with coaching, corrective action documentation, and other employee-related compliance matters as directed.
Staffing & Client Support
  • Support Home Care Supervisors with caregiver staffing, caregiver-client matching, and coverage needs.
  • Assist with communication regarding schedule changes between clients and caregivers.
  • Assist with client communication, including start-of-care outreach, scheduling updates, and routine service-related inquiries.
  • Assist with new client intakes by collecting required information and coordinating documentation.
  • Assist with in-home client assessments as directed by the Home Care Supervisor.
  • Support caregiver assignments, schedules, and client information within WellSky and other agency systems.
  • Assist with client satisfaction follow-ups and service quality initiatives.
Operations & Team Support
  • Support benefits administration and annual enrollment activities as directed by the Benefits & Payroll Specialist.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employment-related questions from applicants, caregivers, and supervisors, escalating complex or sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Support the Safety Committee program, including meetings, communications, and required training initiatives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for regional offices regarding vendor visits, PPE distribution, office access, and other operational needs.
  • Learn, model, and uphold Fedelta Home Care’s mission and values.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of recruiting experience strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Previous healthcare or home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Equivalent education, training, or related experience demonstrating the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position will be considered.
Certifications & Requirements

Relevant certifications such as aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, CNA, HCA, or similar credentials are preferred but not required.

Must be able to successfully complete required pre-employment and ongoing background checks.

Computer Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS, ATS, CRM, EMR, and healthcare-related systems.
  • Experience with WellSky Personal Care or similar home care/healthcare systems is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The Home Care Coordinator does not have direct supervisory responsibility. Matters requiring supervisory authority should be escalated to the appropriate Home Care Supervisor, HR Director, Home Care Director, or Lead.

Compensation & Benefits

$25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience
