Job summary

Givens Communities' Givens Home First in Asheville, NC seeks a PRN Home Care CNA to provide one-on-one support to residents at home. You’ll help with daily tasks, companionship, and safety, while building meaningful relationships in a stable, community-focused setting.

We offer flexible scheduling and a pathway to PT or FT roles. Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 per hour plus a $2 shift differential for evenings and weekends, with a supportive team in Western NC.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active North Carolina CNA certification.
• Current, unrestricted NC driver's license is required.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks.
• CPR certification preferred but not required immediately.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with daily tasks (ADLs & IADLs) such as errands, meals, and housekeeping.
• Support clients with household organization and routines.
• Communicate updates to the care team.
• Document visits and follow care plans.

As part of the nonprofit Givens Communities, Givens Home First supports residents within our communities and the surrounding WNC area so you can truly get to know the people you support. As a Home Care CNA, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home.

We’re looking for PRN CNA's (less than 20hrs per week), with the opportunity to move to PT or FT.

Compensation for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for evening and weekend shifts.
