Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care Serving Jacksonville Beaches is seeking CNAs and HHAs for daytime home care opportunities in Jacksonville and Duval County. You will work one-on-one with clients, building trust and providing compassionate care in a home setting.

Available shifts include weekday days, weekends, mornings and afternoons, with part-time and full-time options. Pay is $17+ per hour with W2 employment and flexible scheduling. Local office support and mileage reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate required.
• Level Two Background Screening required.
• TB screening required.
• CPR certification required.
• HIV/AIDS training required.
• Alzheimers and Related Dementias training required.
• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Good communication skills required.
• Dependable and professional attitude required.
• Comfort around pets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Walking, transfers and mobility assistance.
• Meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs and HHAs for home care opportunities

throughout Jacksonville and Duval County.

Our caregivers work one on one with clients. You have time to get to know the person you are helping instead of caring for many patients at once.

Current Caregiver Opportunities

We have clients who need help during the day as well as other times of the week.

Available schedules may include:

• Weekday day shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Morning and afternoon shifts
• Part time schedules
• Full time schedules
• Four hour minimum shifts
• Eight hour and twelve hour shifts when available
• Overtime opportunities when available

We work to match caregivers based on availability, skills, client needs, and reasonable travel distance.

Who You May Care For

• Adults who need companionship or supervision

Some clients need bathing and transfer help. Others need meals, light housekeeping, reminders, errands, or simply a dependable person there with them.
