Job summary

Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking an Assessor to perform in-home assessments for elderly clients in the Lancaster, CA area. Assessments occur at clients' homes and cover non-medical care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and light housekeeping.

The role includes paid travel time, a 30-minute assessment window, and a flexible schedule across 8am–8pm, with weekends acceptable. Compensation is $40/hour on a per diem basis; background checks and TB testing are required if not already

Job description

We are a home care agency that has been in business since 2007 and in need of an Assessor to perform in-home assessments of elderly clients in the Lancaster, CA area (clients located within a 0-2 hour drive of Lancaster, CA). $40/hour Per Diem. Paid drive time and time spent with the client conducting the in-home assessment.

The assessment consists of talking to the client in person at their home - and asking a few questions about their non medical care needs (i.e. Bathing, dressing, grooming, light house cleaning, etc)

The assessments take 30 minutes; travel time is paid from the person's home and back at $40/hour. Flexible schedule. Can work anytime from 8am to 8pm Monday through Sunday. Weekends only is acceptable. Great part time job for extra money on the side of your regular job. Flexible hours. We will perform a background check. Job starts soon.

Must get a TB (Tuberculosis)skin test if not had one recently. You can go to your local County Health Department and walk in to get a skin TB Test. Just provide your ID and tell them it is for employment. You will return 48-72 hours later to have it checked. Please retain documentation and receipt to evidence the test was completed - for employment verification.
