Job summary

Nurse Next Door Weatherford/Granbury is seeking a dependable Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one in-home care. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible, building meaningful relationships through compassionate, respectful service.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and documenting care plans. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Dependable attendance and reliable communication.
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and personal care.

• Help with transfers to and from beds, chairs, wheelchairs, and vehicles.
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.

• Encourage participation in activities and exercises.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow the client’s care plan and communicate concerns with the care team.
