Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers for full-time, in-home care in Granbury, TX. You will help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, following each client’s Plan of Care.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, transportation, and communication with the office. We offer paid training, benefits for full-time staff, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of senior caregiving experience in a home or agency setting.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience is a plus.
• Willingness to complete company training.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Support daily routines and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and tidying.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support safe mobility and daily activities.
• Follow each client’s Plan of Care.
• Communicate changes or concerns to the office team.
• Provide families with appropriate support and guidance.

What You'll Do

As a caregiver, you’ll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in their own homes. Depending on each client’s needs, responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction

• Following each client’s individualized Plan of Care
• Communicating changes or concerns to the office team
• Providing families with appropriate support and guidance when needed

• Responsive to calls, texts, and emails regarding scheduling and client updates
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care experience is a plus
• Willingness to complete required company training
