Job summary

Addus HomeCare is actively hiring Home Care Aides to support seniors and individuals in Metro Detroit and Downriver. Open and virtual interviews are available at our Detroit office in the Fisher Building.

You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship in clients' homes, with daily pay options for select positions. No certification is required for these roles, and employees can choose their own schedules and territories to work near home while receiving supportive training

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a clean criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation: car or public transit.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Three references (2 professional, 1 personal) required at application.
• Must successfully complete pre-service Home Care Aide training.
• Be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, meal prep, vacuuming, bed making.
• Companionship.
