Job Bank in Burlington, Ontario is seeking a home care aide to provide bedside and personal care in clients' homes. The role is permanent, full-time with 30 to 40 hours weekly and a wage of 22.00 hourly. Starts as soon as possible; requires college-level certificate and 7 months+ experience; CPR and First Aid certified.

The position emphasizes client focus, reliability, and compassionate support, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and companionship.

Qualifications

• College certificate or diploma in a 1–2 year program required.
• CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate preferred.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience desired.

Responsabilités

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Provide companionship
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
