Job description

Are you an experienced Home Care Aide (HCA) looking to advance your career? Do you have home care scheduling experience?

Synergy HomeCare, a licensed premier non-medical service provider, has an immediate opening for Care Advocates to engage with and care for seniors and short-term clientele, including children and working adults.

As a Care Advocate, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing, high-end concierge care program and work with our national accounts.

Qualified candidates must be a Home Care Aide (HCA) and willing to cover last-minute shifts and work in the office when needed.

This role offers the perfect entry-level opportunity for candidates who aspire to take on responsibilities as a healthcare administrator, oversee people and plans, and drive towards meaningful business outcomes.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Caregiving – Work scheduled and last-minute cases, including childcare cases;
  2. Assisting with Back-up Care Accounts, including 1st in line to work cases;
  3. Taking on-call days on a rotational schedule;
  4. Coordinating and recording intake of all referrals;
  5. Interfacing with clients and caregivers for quality assurance;
  6. Answering incoming phone calls;
  7. Entering computer data;
  8. Assisting the Scheduler or DOO with day-to-day care ad hoc projects;
Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. Must be a registered Home Care Aide (HCA)
  2. Must have reliable car and insurance;
  3. Must be an effective team player and have a yearning need to help others;
  4. Must have experience providing care services to clients of ALL ages in their homes.
  5. Exceptional organizational skills and be detail-oriented;
  6. Excellent customer service, telephone and people skills;
  7. Ability to learn quickly in a busy office;
  8. Computer skills including Word and Excel;
  9. Ability to effectively motivate a large staff and multi-task.
  10. Home Care scheduling experience is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour start

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
