Job summary

Visiting Angels Marmora is seeking a Home Care Aide for one-on-one in-home support. Full-time and part-time flexible shifts provide reliable hours for committed caregivers.

You will assist with daily living, mobility, and light housekeeping, while keeping client safety in mind. Training, ongoing supervision, and opportunities for advancement are available within a caring, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, or similar role is a plus.
• Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program is required; CHHA path offered if not certified.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable updating digital care logs.

Responsibilities

• Personalized daily living assistance, transfers, bathing/help with mobility devices.
• Maintain a healthy home environment: linens, light laundry, cleanliness.
• Medication reminders and basic vitals or observations reporting.
• Engage clients with mind-body activities to promote activity.
• Document care notes and promptly share changes with RN or Care Supervisor.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Personalized Daily Living Assistance – Safely transfer clients, support bathing/grooming, and help with mobility devices.
• Healthy Home Environment – Change linens, do light laundry, and keep living areas clean and hazard-free.
• Medication & Wellness Checks – Provide timely reminders and record basic vitals or observations.
• Mind-Body Engagement – Read aloud, reminisce, or guide simple chair-exercises to keep clients alert and active.
• Detailed Reporting – Document care notes and promptly share changes with your RN or Care Supervisor.

The Skills & Heart You Bring

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, or in a similar role is a plus. Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent) is required. However, if you're not yet certified, we offer the course to help you become a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) through our accredited school. We're looking for someone with the right heart to make a difference.
