Job summary

Visiting Angels of West Springfield in South Hadley is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist an 87-year-old client, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am–3:00 pm, 25 hours per week. You will provide companionship, medication reminders, meal prep and personal care, helping him stay active with walker-assisted walks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of elder care experience or certification.
• Transfer and male personal care experience.
• At least 2 professional work references.
• Willing to submit to background checks.
• 2 forms of acceptable identification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong spoken, written and understanding of English.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and mobility support to client.
• Perform medication reminders and meal preparation.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed.
• Encourage safe exercise suitable for walker use.
• Maintain daily logs and communicate with family.

South Hadley, Male, 87, PT, 25 hour per week, 10:00am - 3:00pm, Mon thru Fri, Pay $17.00 - $18.50, Free & paid monthly training, Excellent Hiring & Onboarding system, Advancement Opportunities, Supportive Team.

We need your assistance filling a vacancy with an existing client. He's 87 years young and has lost his regular caregiver. He is a wonderful person who needs help Mon thru Fri 10am - 3pm. Perfect hours if you have school kids. He needs companionship, Med reminders, meal prep, personal care. Mr. B's family would like him to get a little exercise keeping in mind that he walks with a walker.
