Job summary

Senior Helpers – North Seattle is seeking experienced home care aides to provide one-on-one assistance to seniors in their own homes in the North Seattle area. You will help clients stay safe, independent, and comfortable while building meaningful relationships with them and their families.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships through conversation and companionship.
• Supporting daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene).
• Performing household tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assisting with mobility and ensuring a safe home environment.
• Providing transportation to medical appointments, errands and other outings.
• Observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior.
• Communicating with the care team and using technology for documentation.

Hiring experienced in home care aides. We are building a strong team to provide personal assistance to seniors in our North Seattle community. As a personal care aide, you will provide one-on-one support that allows seniors to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

We offer flexible schedules and are a woman-owned agency committed to creating a supportive and positive workplace for caregivers. Our caregivers are professionals who offer exceptional care and build genuine connections with the seniors they serve.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Building relationships through conversation and companionship

• Supporting daily activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming and hygiene)

Requirements include:

• Caring, reliable, patient, positive —passionate about helping others
• HCA or CNA certification, or working toward degree
• Must pass state required background check
• Must be able to commute to client homes in North Seattle
• Experience caregiving in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing.
