Senior Helpers of North Seattle is seeking on-call caregivers to provide essential in-home care for seniors in the North Seattle area when urgent needs arise or regular caregivers are unavailable.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. Must be on-call, have a reliable phone, and be able to use caregiving apps. CNA/HCA certification or progress toward degree is preferred. Background check required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to be on-call and respond promptly to care requests.
• Must have a reliable cell phone and be comfortable using caregiving apps for scheduling and documentation.
• Caring, reliable, patient, positive—passionate about helping others.
• Proof of state background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (walking, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support light housekeeping and meal preparation for clients.
• Offer medication reminders and assist with transportation as needed.
• Build meaningful relationships through conversation and companionship.
• Maintain communication with clients, families, and the care team; observe and document changes in condition or needs.

Your responsibilities may include:
