Job summary

Senior Helpers of North Seattle is seeking experienced caregivers to join our growing team. We serve seniors in their homes, helping them remain safe, independent and comfortable, with compassionate, personalized care tailored to each client.

Ideal candidates have HCA or CNA certification (or equivalent), pass a background check, and bring a caring, dependable attitude. We offer flexible scheduling (part-time and full-time), paid training, health benefits, mileage reimbursement, paid time off

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) as assigned.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Performing household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
• Supporting mobility and ensuring a safe home environment.
• Accompanying clients to medical appointments, shopping and other outings.
• Observing and reporting changes in condition or behavior.
• Communicating with the care team and documenting care tasks.

If you have experience working in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care or healthcare, we’d love for you to join our growing team.

What We’re looking for in you:

• Caring, dependable, patient, positive —you are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player - willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients and to teach others
• HCA or CNA certification or equivalent
• Must pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance a plus!
