Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to join the San Diego, CA team. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and offer companionship to clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
• Pass a background check and provide verifiable references.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.
• Help with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands and transportation.
• Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
