Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Home Building Team Member in Oregon to perform manufacturing production operations across departments in the home building process. You will follow standard production methods, observe safety practices, and help ensure efficient, quality work.

Reporting to the Department Manager / Production and working first shift on weekdays, the role requires reading drawings, teamwork, and flexibility to move between areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings greatly desired.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
