Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech Language Pathologists to provide home-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers in California. The role offers a sign-on bonus, flexible schedules, mileage reimbursement, a monthly tech stipend, and part-time medical benefits.

You will work with families in their homes and community settings, assessing and treating children while following IFSPs and coaching parents for sustained progress.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license.
• Pediatric experience required; Early Intervention preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies toward developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (HIPAA/state/federal regulations).
