Job summary

Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is seeking an Instruction-in-the-Home Teacher to deliver individualized instruction to students with disabilities in home settings. The role is part-time and temporary for the 2026-2027 school year, with hours ranging from 1 to 20 per week and travel across Montgomery County, PA.

Candidates must hold PA Certification in Special Education PK-12 and Wilson Reading System Certification, with a minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• PA certification in Special Education PK-12 required.
• Wilson Reading System Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.
• Experience with Assistive Technology.
• Experience providing a high level of customer service.
• Clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal and FBI Fingerprinting) dated within one year from date of hire.
