Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home respiratory care. The respiratory therapist will set up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment.

The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management. Responsibilities include delivery, patient instruction, and follow-up care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT).
• Experience providing respiratory care in patients' homes.
• Ventilator management experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Completes delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provides patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment.
• Performing follow up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Providing follow up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
