Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide in-home respiratory care, set up equipment after physician orders, and manage ventilator care for patients.

The successful candidate will educate patients on proper use, perform follow-up calls, and support ongoing home visits, ensuring safe and effective therapy across settings.

Qualifications

• Certified or registered respiratory therapist with active license (RRT/CRT).
• Experience delivering home respiratory care and setting up respiratory equipment.
• Ventilator management experience in home/hospice or hospital-to-home transitions.
• Must pass background check and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in hospital and home settings.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instructions on proper use, maintenance and safety of equipment.
• Perform follow-up phone calls with patients after setup of respiratory equipment.
• Provide follow-up care in home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position

Respiratory Therapist

General Description

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
