Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a flexible Physical Therapist to work with infants and toddlers in home-based Early Intervention programs across California.

You will deliver pediatric physical therapy, collaborate with families, and support development in natural environments, including virtual options. The role emphasizes a family-centered coaching approach, IFSP-driven goals, and the ability to adapt sessions across homes, daycare centers, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide physical therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop progress strategies.
• Utilize family-centered coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community settings) and via virtual sessions.
