Job summary

THERAPY 2000 in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to serve pediatric families in home-based settings. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and create home exercise programs in collaboration with caregivers.

Join a team focused on high-quality care, rigorous documentation, and coordination with physicians and other providers. A Texas OT license is required; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current/active Texas OT license.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care for patients.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, logs, and paperwork.
• Engage with agency personnel to align on expectations and standards for care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and applicable laws for home-health OT.
