Job summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network seeks a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to deliver home-based occupational therapy in the Detroit area. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care, education to families, and ensure safety and progress in recovery.

The role requires an OTA license in the state, at least one year of OTA experience in acute care, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• OTA license in state of employment.
• Minimum one year of OTA experience in acute care.
• Home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Capable of all physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services as ordered by the attending physician.
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and safety.
• Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the OT.
• Follow agency policies and Medicare guidelines.
• Attend in-service trainings and mandatory meetings.
