Job summary

The Helper Bees invites you to join our network of nurse assessors for per diem, in-home cognitive and functional assessments. As an Independent Contractor (1099), you will use a portable computer or tablet with camera to assess claimants within 35 miles, aiming for timely submissions and clear documentation for review.

Expect to work as an RN with 5+ years of geriatric experience, meeting meds familiarity and chart-review requirements, while maintaining objectivity and professional

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an RN, current license required.
• Familiarity with a broad range of medications common in geriatric care.
• Experience with quality assurance or chart audit/review.
• Must have reliable internet for submitting assessments.
• Independent contractor (1099) role with per diem pay.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home cognitive and functional assessments.
• Complete structured assessments with accuracy and efficiency.
• Observe and report current status of individuals objectively.
• Coordinate scheduling with client or contact person.
• Submit assessment within 24 hours; team follows up within 48 hours.
