Job summary

Hope Services in California is seeking a Developmental Specialist to provide 1:1 developmental intervention for infants and toddlers in home or clinic settings. You will educate and coach families, document progress, and advocate for children with developmental needs.

The role requires collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and maintaining detailed records. Travel within specified counties is expected, with a strong emphasis on family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Human Development or related field required.
• 1+ years of related experience with children or people with disabilities; a Master’s in Special Education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 developmental intervention and assessment to infants and toddlers in home or clinic settings.
• Offer parent education and coaching related to developmental disabilities.
• Promote progress, document outcomes, and advocate for families.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists and other agencies.
