Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Home Educator to work with Head Start families in Ohio. The role involves home visits to promote parenting, child development and family well-being, with ongoing goal setting and resource provision.

You will document progress weekly and collaborate on IFSP/IEP goals, while supporting learning through home materials and safety guidelines. The position requires a CDA or related credential and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, plus a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

Background check, drug test and physical required.
CDA or higher credential or coursework toward an associate/bachelor degree.
Willingness to travel and lift up to 40 pounds.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

Partner with Head Start families to promote positive parent-child interactions and well-being.
Collaborate with families to assess needs, set goals and identify resources.
Assist children and families with school-readiness skills.
Visit families weekly, document activities and progress, ensure access to screenings.
Support IFSP/IEP goals and coach parents in observation and planning.
Encourage learning at home with age-appropriate materials and safety practices.
Provide education and social service support to pregnant families.
Attend meetings with local agencies to support families.
